   Mascot Pictures was a prolific poverty row studio specializing in serialsand B Westernsfrom 1926 to 1946. Nat Levine was its most prominent producer. Gene Autry’s The Phantom Empire (1935) and Tom Mix’s The Miracle Rider (1935) were produced by Mascot.
